Trustees Update on the Clean Out
See pictures below the text.

April 17, 2008--As of yesterday, 60 truck loads of debris had been removed. This equates to 459 tons and has cost $27,539. At this point it looks like they are two-thirds done, so it appears there will be less debris than anticipated. We expect the project to be completed early in May.

April 4, 2008--Monday March 31st Active Thermal Concepts (environmental company for Asbestos removal) set up onsite at the church. Tuesday they and Fye Construction (demolition and hauling) started in on the massive cleanup task. The steel I-beams were cut out and will be picked up for salvage by Alter Scrap Metal. As of Thursday 20 dump trucks of debris had been removed and taken to the Des Moines County landfill. The cleanup process is estimated to take 25 working days. (See pictures below.)
