Members of First Church's United Methodist Men meet weekly at Laura's Restaurant on Summer Street.   The breakfast and Bible study meetings are on Wednesday mornings at 8:00.

A major project of the Methodist Men is the support of the Kenneth Koch Memorial Scholarship Fund which grants scholarships to graduating high school and college students.  UMM also accepts applications and approves loans to student church members for the Mildred Westfall scholarship fund and supports the annual In-gathering program to provide supplies for needs throughout the world.

UMM members actively participate in fundraisers for the Kenneth Koch Memorial Scholarship Fund and other programs.  These fundraisers include the June Lemonade "Shake Up," during the Steamboat Days Snake Alley Art Fair and the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.  UMM is assisted in the latter project by Boy Scout Troop No. 1 of Grace Church.

UMM welcomes the participation of all interested men of the First United Methodist Church.
